May Bistro Concert

Jean Lin, a classical pianist, will perform at the May Bistro Concert, including works by Schubert, Messiaen, Dvorak, and Mozart. Jean is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at Shenandoah Conservatory in piano performance under John O'Conor. She completed her Master of Music at Mannes College of Music (The New School) in New York City with Pavlina Dokovska and her Bachelor of Music at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with Dr. Mikhail Yanovitsky. She also studies organ concurrently with Dr. Wayne L. Wold at Shenandoah Conservatory and serves as the music director and organist at Christ Episcopal Church in Old Town Winchester. She is a full scholarship recipient of the Sorensen Fellowship Award and a post-master's teaching assistantship at Shenandoah Conservatory.

Bistro Concerts are open to the public, with a $10 fee (CASH ONLY, PLEASE) at the door. SVWC is located at 300 Westminster-Canterbury Dr., and the Bistro Concerts are sponsored by Atlantic Union Bank. For further information, call 540-665-0156.
