"American Nights" - Featuring Szymon Czerniak
American-born Polish pianist, Szymon Czerniak, has been hailed for his “brilliant technique, extraordinary energy, and strength in interpretation (Kurier Szczecinski).” Szymon is a recipient of the Cultural Arts Scholarship, awarded by the Kosciuszko Foundation for a special study in Poland, under the direction of Katarzyna Popowa-Zydron at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. Czerniak is a master at the piano and will appear with his jazz trio featuring Jacob Pembelton on bass and PhoTeng on percussion. Join us for an exciting evening of music from the jazz canon, inspired by the group's eastern, western, and southern roots!
