The team at SVWC continues to monitor the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its potential impact on our community. We are currently allowing limited family visits, though that may change from day to day. We recommend that you check before visiting. At this time, we are not able to provide in-person tours for prospects. We can, however, meet in our Marketing Conference Room to discuss your future plans. Otherwise, outside visitors are still restricted. Essential business personnel are required to pass our screening process.
SVWC is required to change visitation processes, at times, according to county/city positivity rates – updated weekly – and as test results are received for both residents and staff. Our mission is for residents to live their lives fully. Our obligation is to provide a quality living environment in which safety is paramount. Achieving the right balance between safety/protection and choice is challenging.
Please know that our decision-making is based on what we feel is best for residents while following guidance from the U.S. Center For Disease Control (CDC) and the Virginia Department of Health (VDH). Our on-campus visitation practices are dependent on circumstances beyond our control with our best efforts put forth to communicate such as quickly as possible.
All staff and necessary visitors are being screened prior to entering the building.
If you have any questions about visiting our campus, please call 540-665-0156 for further clarification.
