COVID-19 Info

On February 1, 2023, SVWC will reopen to the public for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began. As a result, we will be dropping the masking mandate for all individuals, including employees, in unregulated areas. However, masking will still be required in SVWC's regulated spaces, which include assisted living, memory care, health care, and therapy.

SVWC is required to change visitation processes, at times, according to county/city positivity rates. Our mission is for residents to live their lives fully, and our obligation is to provide a quality living environment in which safety is paramount.

Please know that our decision-making is based on what we feel is best for residents while following guidance from the U.S. Center For Disease Control (CDC) and the Virginia Department of Health (VDH). Our on-campus visitation practices are dependent on circumstances beyond our control with our best efforts put forth to communicate such as quickly as possible.

If you have any questions about visiting our campus, please call 540-665-0156 for further clarification.
