John Waller
John Waller has made SVWC his home since 1996. He relocated from Leesburg, Virginia, where he worked in Commercial Banking.
My wife and I enjoy the carefree retirement we have found in this caring community. We chose SVWC based on the freedom and independence that is given to each individual, and we continue to experience a feeling of community, a sense of individuality and a knowledge of security.

Joan Butler
Joan Butler from Bluemont, Virginia, has been a resident at SVWC since 1992. She has a life-long interest in horticulture.
One of the things that I think is so remarkable about this community is the fact that the Residents' Association is so democratically organized. All residents are able to voice their opinions about issues that please or concern them.

Bill & Sue
Jones
From Reston, Virginia, Sue and Bill Jones have been at SVWC since 1998. Bill spent his business day in research management, while Sue worked as a librarian.
We were attracted first by a beautiful wildflower garden on campus with trails, and by the nearby mountains. When we met the friendly staff and residents, saw the community and the city of Winchester, the picture was complete.
